Enrollment Catalyst, led by Dr. Rick Newberry, is a consulting firm that focuses on school growth. Tassel’s alliance with Rick dates back to 2004.
Tassel and Enrollment Catalyst have collaborated on strategic enrollment initiatives for hundreds of schools. We sometimes get the question, “What’s the difference between Tassel and Enrollment Catalyst? What do you do, and what does Rick do?”
Rick has deep expertise in comprehensive assessment of the enrollment management function. His primary offerings include:

Enrollment Marketing Geeks
Andy Lynch and Rick Neberry have collaborated on numerous professional development projects over the years — articles, speaking engagements, webinars, topical series, etc.
In 2021, they launched the Enrollment Marketing Geeks, a learning forum for marketing, admissions, and advancement professionals, and leaders of independent and faith-based schools.
The Enrollment Marketing Geeks’ motto is “verum in ioco,” the Latin phrase for “truth in jest,” which embodies the Geeks’ approach to professional development. Andy and Rick believe that team members involved in the enrollment management effort need continuous learning opportunities, but it doesn’t have to be boring. It should be clear, practical, actionable…and fun.
