Give help and get help at the pre-conference huddle for C12 member marketing agencies

REGISTER

ConCurrent 25 is the pre-CURRENT huddle for owners and key players in digital marketing and creative services firms.

What is the theme for ConCurrent 25?

Our focus this year will be Creating Value. Are we capturing value through our marketing and sales efforts? Are we operating with excellence and delivering value for our clients? Are we wisely stewarding and building value in the agencies we will one day exit? And are we modeling values we want our team members to uphold?

In this action-packed one-day agenda, we’ll listen, share, and collaborate with brothers and sisters on similar journeys.

Where will we meet?

As is our custom at the in-person huddles, we take fun seriously, too. That’s why we’ll be meeting at Chicken N Pickle in Grapevine, TX, a short 12-minute drive from the Gaylord Texan. This place is waaaay better than a windowless meeting room! We’ll enjoy breakfast, lunch, afternoon beverages, a well-appointed meeting space, and, of course, pickleball! Whether you’re a serious pickler or don’t even know how to spell p-i-c-k-l-e-b-a-l-l, you’ll have a big time.

How much?

The ticket price for ConCurrent 25 is $275. No one makes any money from staging this event; we charge only what we need to cover the overhead of breakfast, lunch, the meeting space, and afternoon activities. Here’s what your ticket fee covers:

  • Meeting venue
  • Breakfast
  • Lunch
  • Pickleball equipment
  • Tax and 20% gratuity

And here’s the real value you’ll receive:

  • Real conversations with other agency leaders about creating value in your firm
  • Shared learnings from peers who can provide specific insights grounded in experience
  • The opportunity to not only give help, but get help
  • A lot of fun, laughs, and perhaps pickleball bragging rights

The Generosity Mindset: How a Giving Spirit Can Fuel Your Agency’s Growth

Presented by Paul Clowe, NextAfter

For most, generosity is viewed as a nice by-product of success. If we’re successful, we have the opportunity to be generous with our wealth and enrich the lives of others. But what if we turned that traditional logic on its head? What if a Generosity Mindset is actually the underpinning of success?

A Generosity Mindset involves much more than writing a check to your favorite charity. It’s about adopting a servant’s heart in everything you do, from how you treat your employees and their families, how you interact with prospects, clients, and customers, how you relate to your vendors and industry partners, and yes, how you support your community and the many worthy causes in our world.

Paul will share from his varied background about his observations related to generosity in the workplace. It’s true that the prospect of giving before getting can be a daunting endeavor. But it does not have to be that way. In real-life examples, he’ll explore how generosity can lead to higher employee satisfaction, a healthy sales pipeline, happier clients & customers with better retention rates, and healthier industry partnerships. And all this is not done at the expense of profit margins, but rather promotes a stronger and more robust bottom line in the long term.
